Kate Gilliam first made an edible bouquet as a gift for a friend in New York. She was amazed by the number of people who stopped her to ask where she bought it. Using locally sourced materials and wrapped up with some recipe ideas, Kate is going to run a workshop so we can learn how to make an edible bouquet. We’ll be making a bouquet to take home but also some to be on display at Kate’s breakfast at the botanics on 13th June which is part of the Festival of Dangerous Ideas.
Sunday 10th June 7:30-9:30 pm
Phoenix Club, 1 Harrison Place.
- This workshop follows a short talk on Garden Sharing at 7 pm by Daisy from Edinburgh Garden Partners.
- Refreshments provided.
- Small donation (£2 suggested) appreciated to cover costs of hall hire.
- Bouquet ingredients provided but please feel free to bring any contributions you may have.
