Pommes et pommes de terre; celebrating harvest time at the community garden on 8 September

On Saturday 18th September from 2 to 6.30pm we’ll be celebrating harvest time at the Royal Edinburgh Community Garden. Come along and help pick apples, dig potatoes and pull up onions. Then we’ll bake potatoes, make soup from the veg patch and juice apples to share. There’ll also be a tour of the gardens for anyone who hasn’t been before, or hasn’t been for a while, as well as Edinburgh Slow Food’s ‘Taste Adventure’ for children.

Bring a mug, plate, knife and fork, as well as your wellies.

Everyone’s very welcome, whether or not you’ve been to the garden before.

More information on the community garden is available on the RECG wordpress site
